I saw a post in facebook, a picture of a skinny child, black african, carrying a child on his back, white colour. The picture was tagged 'black or white, skinny or fat, straight or curly hair, God cares'.
I see this as very peculiar. I just can't understand a God that 'cares' putting that child into miseries, skinny, malnutrition... hopeless.
Why?
Everywhere in this world, believer in this God that cares, and the non-believer in this God that cares, as well as the one who never heard of this God that cares... they are suffering. Why God that cares allow these poor people to suffer, yet the bunch that caused them to suffer was let go and live happily in abundant. Worst still, those who are suffering believes in that God that cares, and the oppressor rarely heard about the God that cares.
One may argue that someone have to tell the oppressor about the God that cares so that the oppressor become good guy and help the poor. Well, that God that cares must be a lowly, stupid, shitty minded God for that case because it takes that complicated steps to get Him acknowledged as God that cares. Apparently, that God that cares only appeal to the people who are nowhere to go and in deep shit. For the oppressor, who cares about the existence (if there is) of the God that cares because that God that cares will never personally bother them. The God that cares does not give a shit about what they are doing. The God that cares has to 'recruit' a shitty poor guy to negotiate with the oppressor. And to recruit, it may take ages to find the right guy, to recruit the guy, and to make it happen. By then, the oppressor have already lived his life fully and abundantly, and care less if some idiot kill him in day light. By then, the generation of poor people had already lived poor throughout their entire life, scratching for food, and sleep through the night with rumbling tummy. Yet, they have a God that cares. I don't know if that God that cares wanted them to live without eating, or the 'care' exclude food and confort of living.
It disturb me a lot. Why, a God that cares, can allow poor people to be suffering. Good Samaritan can't help that much. God that cares should help them. What is a God that cares if the people that acknowledge the God that cares as God that cares is not dealt with properly.
Why should the poor continue to acknowledge their trust in the God that cares if only death ends their suffering? Why trust in God that cares if there is no end to misery?
Most probably God that cares does not exist, or even if God that cares exist, that God that cares is playing dumb.
