Now, close your eyes, and feel the light. What colour is it? Can't tell?
Well, look at something bright, a shape; focus your eyes on it and then close your eyes; can you still see it? If you are not blind, you should see it clearly printed on your eye lid.
My question will be - as you close your eyes, and still seeing that image; where is that image? is it in your brain, or is it seen by your eyes? You 'see' it because you 'remember' it or you 'see' it because your eyes 'keep' the image? If your eyes is keeping the image then it should be colourful as it is, but it isn't colourful; if your brain is keeping the image then the image shouldn't fade away rapidly. If the image was 'remembered' than regardless of how long we close our eyes, we should 'see' it clearly. But we are not!
So what is it? What is happening? What is the mechanism?
Why we can remember face but takes a lot of effort to remember name?
