I have a story. It goes like this.
f(A) lives in Alabama, nice place. He is a chap with nothing in particular. He is 21 years old, not very bright. All he does every day is watching the sun passes by from horizon to horizon. Very boring. About god, he has not a clue whatsoever.
f(B) is another guy worth telling. He is a smart guy, lives in Bhutan. Very literate and rich, he went to MIT when he was 15. Graduated as Geologist, he is now enjoying the beauty of Himalaya. His ancestors passes myth about how Himalaya was created by some mighty turbulence caused by some angry gods fighting. He knew these myth but enjoys its wit.
Everyday, at exactly 7:09 in the morning, f(A) wake up, jump out of bed and in to the loo to pee. Miles away, exactly at 7:09 as well, f(B) does exactly the same - jump aout of bed and straight to the loo to pee. Not only that, exactly at 1:00 f(A) sat on the dining chair and drink a glass of milk. Miles away, f(B), at 1:00, sat on the dining chair and drink milk too. And exactly at 6:00pm, f(A) sat on the balcony looking at the horizon, just like what f(B) is doing, looking at the setting sun.
Now, if you read this story about f(A) and f(B) independantly, you will not find anything interesting. So to add spices, I put f(A) and f(B) in the same page. You will definitely finds it peculiar and odd and very unlikely two events occuring at the same time, at two different places, on two unrelated individuals.
What if after I put both f(A) and f(B) in the same page, I told you that f(A) and f(B) are very religious and they are worshipping the same god that you worship. I tell you, very likely that you will forget about how impossible, how odd, how unlikely it is for two events to occur at the same time, at two different places.
In reality, events occurring at the same time are normal, it does happen, and it is not impossible to occur. We just don't see it, and there is nothing special about it. It is explainable mathematically with great accuracy. Events occurs naturally, and it does not wait for any divine intervention to occur.
Religious thought often exploit this natural phenomenon to gain attention. Not only that, they claim that only divine intervention can make it possible. I don't know how 'those expert' came up with such thing. To me, it is more like a lie though.
When comes to science, listen to the expert and the 'knowledged'. Don't waste your time listening to people who pretend to be an expert.
